​12/2  ::  Venus (love, finances & relationships) ~trine~ Uranus (freedom & liberation):

This energy is likely to bring a little excitement into your life, one way or another. It is a good time to do something different, try something new & consciously put your Self in situations where you have to improvise or think on your feet. We are in times of breaking old patterns and re-setting them in more positive, effective ways. You can still live your true values & priorities, but something has changed within. This blessing from the Cosmos allows you to align with more personal authenticity, which in turn is infused into all that you love & treasure. Relationships will have an unusual energy to them. An established relationship may get shaken up or sparkle with some extra “spice” or a new relationship begun under this influence may be stimulating & unusual but probably short-lived too. This is not a bad thing! It’s actually perfect for improvising and experimenting with new ideas, new people & new ways of expressing your Self and then dropping-in to Center to see what you actually respond to, what your Heart aligns with and responds to and choose from there. Use this energy to soak up some good vibes & rare wisdom from those who are unique mavericks who do things differently than you do and who live life to the fullest!

12/4  ::  Mercury Rx (mind & thinking) ~oppose~ Jupiter (learning & consciousness):

Any opposition requires us to work with two distinct energies and get them to work together for the good of all involved. It is also a MidPoint which allows you that 180* view from the other side of your starting point (roughly 6-months ago). Mercury & Jupiter are working out the push-pull within you between your Mind & Consciousness, between your Thinking & Beliefs, between your Thoughts & Imagination, between the Tedious Details and the Grand Vision. Because of all this, it would be tremendously beneficial to play amongst a group of like-hearted souls with varying points of view, mavericks who following their intuition as well as humble healers who also buck status quo by following their intuitive knowing within, something we all have the capacity for. This is great for what I call *Jam Sessions*, when my colleagues & I get together to discuss our ideas & insights about our professional goals, something like that is a great use of this energy: plan, strategize, discuss with others, get input and feedback, bounce ideas around and be open and receptive to others’ points of view because they may think of something that you didn’t. Make sure it is a Circle, where all opinions are valued even if not shared. This is a good one for learning something new and looking at things from another angle, completely.

12/4  ::  Sun (essential Self) ~square~ Saturn (responsibility):

With this energy, it is best to understand that you may have two distinct pulls within – obligation to others versus responsibility to Self. It’s not nearly as bad as it feels, however, it does bring up something we all work really hard to balance to one degree or another – SELF vs OTHERS. How much do you owe your Self and how much are you obligated to others? Balance and reciprocity come to mind as guides. One of the challenges of this influence is making negative assumptions that there is no support for you when, in truth, you haven’t asked for any and *help must be invited*. Saturn brings up our relationship to Time, and some people may feel restricted, as if life/other/outer is all too demanding and there’s never any time just for the individual. This activation is a push to grow. It’s time to hold your own structure in some way and reclaim your Inner Authority (also Saturn’s domain) to direct your own life. Others may find their lives falling apart because they have avoided responsibility for so long and now there’s no more “wiggle room”. Rather than have a meltdown, take a nap and resolve to wake up with a plan, a strategy for taking the next step, even if that means simply asking for help or guidance from someone older and wiser. It’s time to deepen your dedication and commit to your Self in a whole new way. Recognize any current limitations and work with the resources at hand for now. The Sun usually illuminates the core essential nature or Self, so see where you may be stuck and need to break out of a rut of some sort and trust that taking charge, making a decision and choosing a direction is *inviting help* from the Universe to support your new direction.

12/4  ::  Venus (essence & natural beauty) ~sextile~ Neptune (consciousness & vision):

This energy connects your true values & priorities to the planet of dreams, mysticism & other dimensions (Neptune). You have an opportunity to gain some real traction on making your vision tangible just by connecting to the essence that you want to experience. Feel the feeling and that will lead to the physical manifestation. This energy helps you believe in what is possible and supports any artistic expression or active practice, such as vision boards, affirmations etc, anything that helps you hone the actual vision. Steps & strategies are for other planets, Venus only cares about the essence of Nature & Love and Neptune is definitely not who you’d work with for ‘steps/strategies’ ; -) So, tune-in to the natural beauty around you and suspend any usual inner dialogue for a day or two (as soon as you can) so that you can connect to some inspiration that is guided by your own Heart & Soul (from the inside-out).12/5  ::  Mercury Rx (communication & self-expression) ~conjunct~ Sun (energy & illumination):

This energy will compel you to express yourself on many levels. Communication will be a focus, just make sure it is reciprocated. What I mean is two-way communication and exchange of ideas. As you initiate this new cycle of self-expression, you will have access to some powerful energy that can (and probably will) help you make a difference or an impression on others (if you need to). This is a good time to travel if possible. However, if not physically, then mentally (through visualization) or within your own area (locally), because if you explore a new direction, you are more likely to discover something new. This energy opens you up to a download of more information than usual so pay attention! If you are solid and organized, you may even gain some much-deserved recognition from others that you have earned through your individual efforts.

12/6  ::  Mercury Rx (communication/expression) ~square~ Saturn (limits/reality):

This energy is good for deep self-reflection and intentional solitude rather than negotiating with others as it can create challenges around communication & self-expression. It is easier to feel misunderstood when trying to convey something or you may seem a little down to others when it’s more of a serious, not necessarily negative vibration. This is not usually good energy for business negotiations unless every detail is very clear to all involved. This energy often makes you most critical of your Self, but it could trickle over onto others as well. Basically, Saturn helps you see where any weakness & instability is going on, so you’re recognizing what needs to be fixed or fortified, and Mercury can actually be useful for learning. Beware of a tendency toward apathy, pessimism and/or depression, that’s Saturn & Mercury, which makes it more mental than literal. Try to stay focused on all the blessings that you do have and all that you have accomplished instead of what’s still on the list of things to do (in life). This energy is not intended to make you feel bad about all the things left yet to do, but encourage you to begin the necessary steps and be okay with small measures of progress for now. This energy tends to make you focus on the practical side of manifesting. Clear the mental distractions & emotional debris, and begin to lay a new, clean, solid foundation beneath your goals. Then, strategize about the details of bringing them to fruition. That will cheer you up too!

12/6  ::  Mars Retrograde at 6* LEO (until 2.23.2025):

Normally, we look for that expansion and uplifted spirit for a month or two while Mars lights up the Leo Department of your life, but this year it’s going to linger and Retrograde in Leo. Usually, Mars entering Leo is an opportunity to get creative and have some fun, no matter how challenging life may be in the moment. This energy helps you magnetize your desires when you shine the Light of your Authentic Self. So as it Retrogrades, it is asking you to go within to redefine who you are, what you want & what you want to create. You should review the last 2-years, at a minimum, for your own evolution of desires, actions & choices. Look at what aspects of Self have evolved over that time and may want to express in new & different ways. Examine your self-love/self-worth issues that may be spotlighted with this blockage or delay. Also note that if you can do a clearing & reset in the Leo Dept, then you should be stronger for going Direct in Cancer, when you will anchor some deeper self-care practices, focus on your personal security and develop your creative babies.

This is an Initiation and an energy that supports a brand new beginning in your personal life. Some aspect of your values & priorities has shifted or run its natural course and this is a time to move in a completely new direction, even if it only feels like moving to your own next level (with love, finances or relationships). Pluto adds intensity to the mix, for better or worse, but also grants rare access to profound levels of connection within and with those that you are in-alignment with on a Soul-level. This is the ultimate support for the power of love to transform ALL. Because your values and priorities are changing, relationships must also undergo a similar adjustment (when you change, everyone around you changes or goes away). Beware of value differences that can cause power struggles which are not productive, that’s often just the ego distracting you from an opportunity to finally release some dead weight and move into the new with more ease & grace. Try to create circumstances that are win/win and mutually beneficial, this will allow the relationship to evolve, rather than devolve or revolve back into the new cycle and thus, repeating a negative patterns.

12/7  ::  Sun (core essential Self) ~oppose~ Jupiter (expansion & learning):

This energy can be a double-edge sword, in that, you may “feel” positive and optimistic – which is a good thing – but it is also prone to excess – which brings us to the philosophy of “everything in moderation” or “balance in all things”. Be positive but be alert too! Beware of the urge to overdo it or over-extend yourself on any level. Use this energy to tap into your courageous side and attempt something that you have avoided out of fear or doubt. There is a push-pull going on between your ego and your enthusiastic Inner Child which demands that you find a proper expression for this energy. Also, beware of your enthusiasm provoking you to try to get others to see it from this point of view. You always have to be mindful of the fact that everyone is on their individual paths and may not be ready for what you’re bringing … and that’s okay – focus this energy back on your Self and it will serve you well. This energy tends to bring out the self-righteousness in us and that rarely leads where you are trying to go. What this energy is trying to tell us is that certain aspects of your Self and your Spiritual development are coming to a head and decisions need to be made which will affect your future. Pay attention – and try to get the lesson & the blessing of whatever is happening this week because it is trying to guide you to a new level … ready or not! Also keep in mind that it is an opposition, which always reminds us to watch for extremes and practice coming back into center, the truth is that you are 6-months into something that requires some integration. If you stabilize now, you can expand your life in positive ways and with more ease & grace.

12/7  ::  Ceres Enters AQUARIUS (until 2.23.2025):

Ceres, the Great Mother, rules what you nurture, contain, develop and protect, among other things. In Aquarius, the focus is on individuality, freedom and taking the road less traveled. This is a time to nurture & develop your own unique contribution to society. Once in 4-5 years we get to focus on the future in this special way that brings us back to the heart – what do we care enough about to invest further? On a personal level, you can initiate a new cycle of self-acceptance and self-love, along with a renewed sense of balance between your responsibility and freedom needs. This is a time to recalibrate what your individual “freedom needs” are – what is most important to you? Where/When do you rebel against limitation? You can use this time to redefine sovereignty and commit to nurturing that freedom & independence going forward.

12/7  ::  Neptune Direct in PISCES:

If the Moon represents the individual womb, then Neptune is the collective womb. When it retrogrades annually, we are given an opportunity to consciously develop something, usually related to healing & wholeness. The retrogrades always encourage us to go within and heal, make-whole or integrate something critical to our well-being. What healing process have you been working on personally, since July 2024? Neptune is most commonly known as the planet of dreams and visions. So on a normal day, Neptune creates the desire to daydream, create, visualize the ideal outcome (to life, relationship, project, etc.), it tends to see everything through rose-colored glasses, putting its hopeful spin on it all. When Neptune Retrogrades, it may be less shocking than Uranus or Pluto, but no less effective. It’s primary goal during a Retrograde is to gently dissolve personal boundaries. You start to realize your connection to the whole. Not a bad idea, but to some, it can be unsettling if they are rigidly holding onto boundaries for a false sense of security. Hopefully, you’ve been able to reconnect to your Spirit in a way that helps you navigate the world better going forward, now that it is going Direct.
