This month we have 2 eclipses and the Equinox making for an intense time of rattling the structures of our foundations of stability, old patterns and anything we may be fiercely attached to. We have heard the phrase, “shaken to awaken” from others and that is exactly the energy of this eclipse time. The more stubborn the structure, the more intense the rattling and shake up may be. Some of you may experience traumatic events that open your instinctive center of survival, giving you the opportunity to clear old patterns and dump karmic debris. And for some of you the rattling may be simply an experience of discomfort in a situation where you receive more clarity about what you really want, leading to better choices in your life. Whatever the case may be, the most important thing is to manage the aftermath proactively so you can use the lessons and guidance of the events to support your own change.

We are unpacking the trigger of the last New Moon in Virgo that prompted a new beginning. While our energy field got the message, the old habits of the personality and the physical body are slow to catch up and need some prompting and reminding of what we don’t want. So stay out of judgment, blame and martyrdom if you find yourself in one of these reminder situations, and know you have created it for yourself to fast track your personal growth and transformation.

‘The cage’ represents the old structures we live in and by, and they include old identities, disappointments, regrets, judgments, behaviors, beliefs, illusions, and addictive patterns. The most intense catalysts for change will be in the window between the 2 eclipses, with the first on the 7th being the most potent. Stay out of resistance and most of all, be willing to change. We are being guided this month to mature in emotional and spiritual ways and to improve our structures of self-care, not just physical but mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic as well.

You can almost count on being different at the end of the month than you are at the beginning. Embrace the opportunity and be disciplined about knowing and communicating what you want. Face challenges with humor, creativity, optimism, trust and intuition.

How the month shows up:

YOU PERSONALLY

This is a transformative time of shedding old skin, initiation and deep personal change, healing and evolution. Not a comfortable month by any means however if you can be disciplined about what needs doing and embrace the change coming your way, it can be very rewarding. Self-observation is key this month as it will show you where your lessons are, where your karma is, and where you need to put your energy. Most of you will feel like there are way too many moving parts and way too much on your plate. Use discernment to weed through the debris and fallout of any situation that rattles your cage and causes a flash flood of clearing in your life.

The time is fertile for using your creativity and imagination to be proactive in reorganizing what has gone into chaos and resetting your priorities in a good way. You will need to work on boundaries and protection as you navigate the energy of others as well as your own determination to move through and past the tsunami of energy. When things seem to be the most fragmented is when you have the greatest opportunity to reshape your life the way you want it.

RELATIONSHIPS

Some relationships will be the stability, grounding and support during stormy and turbulent times. Others may end up in the category of fallout. Whatever the case, relationships will always serve as a mirror to our process. Don’t take things personally and refrain from “giving advice” just because you think you have the solution to another’s “problem”. Everyone will have their process to go through in their own way, their own timing and their own sequence of priority.

Your relationship to yourself and your own habits and beliefs should be on your priority list to work with this month. Don’t use other people’s process as a distraction to keep you from your own work. On the other hand, this is a month where community, collaboration and new agreements play a significant part in any reconfiguration or choices to make that will affect your life. Be kind, considerate, compassionate with yourself and others.

HEALTH AND THE PHYSICAL BODY

Watch for aches and pains in joints, teeth, bones and muscles. Also, be prepared for ‘clean-out’ illnesses as you transmute any energetic toxicity you have been carrying around. It is a good idea to get some physical support especially around the equinox as a change of season though a detox, acupuncture, massage, shamanic healing or any other modality that can be of service to you. Remember the body often has to catch up to where you are in your new ideas, inspired intentions and energetic releases and subsequent change.

New practices and healthy routines should be anchored this month especially when you receive clarity about what your body, mind and spirit need to be nurtured and supported. Put yourself and what you need for your own self-care first. This will be a discipline for some of you that are used to putting yourself last and taking the leftovers. You might disappoint someone in the process but be healthier for it.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND PROJECTS
This is a tricky month for finances, investments, business ventures and partnerships. The main thing to remember is to use your intuition and watch for self-deception around what may be viable for you. There will be some fantastic opportunities but they may be eccentric and not follow predictions or patterns from the past. Refrain from believing everything you read or hear about the economy as everything is elastic, unpredictable and volatile especially around the eclipses. Do not make decisions out of fear and don’t take risks you can’t afford to lose.

This month is great for getting reorganized with projects, finances and plans. Know exactly what you have before you decide where to take action. Team up only with people who are on the same page and you intuitively trust. If you are involved in a business or project that happens to go through a massive shake-up, use it as an opportunity to learn lessons and move to the next stage in your own growth and evolution.

ENVIRONMENT

Nature always serves as a catalyst for our inner process. As things heat up outside, they are heating up inside. As flash floods, volcanic flows, and wind storms occur, changing landscapes overnight, so do we experience inner storms of our own. It is a turbulent, unpredictable, highly creative time that is keeping us on our toes and paying attention. Be prepared for anything.

On a note regarding personal environment, take time this month to look at what you are overly attached to and contemplate not having that item in your life. Where is the anchor? Where is the thread of nostalgia and the physical hook? This is not to say you need to divest yourself of those items, simply to notice the energetic attachments and to loosen them up a little, giving you a little more freedom to be flexible and willing to change.

DATES AND TIME FRAMES:

September 1-7

We are entering a completion cycle of karmic lessons that have been with us for the last couple of years. Think about what you have been trying to change, reset, eliminate and move beyond in the last couple of years. Take a spiritual inventory of what is still outstanding that needs attention and pay close attention to anything that is coming up as a challenge that feels like a rattling of your cage, (‘the cage’ being the old structures of your life). Be willing to go through the challenge proactively with an intention for growth and personal evolution to a higher state.

There is a great push for reorganizing and restructuring, and an incentive for action and clear communication about what you want. It may feel like a tremendous amount of “work” and you may experience a sense of overwhelm. Be task oriented and organized, put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Watch for overthinking.

September 7

Full Moon in Pisces and total lunar eclipse is Sunday, September 7 at 12:08 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). Known as the blood moon for its red hue during the eclipse, this full moon is a powerful gateway to clearing the path of old patterns and karmic debris. The time between the 2 eclipses (next one is a partial solar on September 21) is the most intense window of rattling the cage of our known structures, patterns, beliefs, attachments, and habitual ways of living. The energy is volatile and unpredictable, confusing or enlightening, painful or ecstatic. Hard truths could surface and the foundations of something you either believed in or counted on for stability could show signs of fragmenting.

Think of this full moon time as a giant clean out much like a flash flood, immensely powerful in its ability to scour out the dead wood and accumulated debris. It is best not to resist but to work with whatever is coming up proactively, making wise choices, setting new boundaries, and being responsible for organizing the flow of energy in ways that serve you better.

September 8-14

Recent challenges bring new insights, new clarity and new ways of expressing yourself. Listen for intuitive wisdom and be open to creative problem solving using new systems, ideas and structures. This is also a good window of time to reflect on the lessons learned, the growth achieved, and what you have been able to manifest in your life. It is not always about chasing what needs to improve. Sometimes acknowledging how far you have come, both in what has changed as well as what you have realized, is a way to honor yourself in this process.

September 15-22

In the face of any challenging situations where you may be experiencing the breaking apart of some foundational structure, use your creativity, focus on beauty and be inspired around what is possible instead of feeling victimized. This is a good window to be reorganizing our self-care as part of a new routine. Self-care is not only about nurturing the body, it is also about keeping good boundaries against energy leaks, negativity, and toxic environments and people.

We are now in the aftermath of the 2 eclipses and the equinox and this is a good time to pick up the pieces that are left and to contemplate what has fallen away with the intention to restructure your life with maturity, responsibility, imagination and strong intention. Stay out of irritability, blame, doubt and cynicism. The eclipses have cleared a way. If you cannot yet see it clearly, trust that spirit will give you the clarity when the timing is right. Take some time to dream big and some time to honor change, growth and progress.
