The month of OCTOBER arrives like a sacred echo, carrying the energetic response to last month’s Eclipses and Lunar Flip. These celestial events have shifted our internal wiring, altering how we manifest with the Moon for the next 18-months. So much transformation in so little time requires recalibration, and thankfully, Mercury is stepping in as our guide. Preparing to retrograde in Sagittarius and then move Direct in Scorpio, Mercury offers us the gift of realignment, helping us commune with Soul & Spirit as we balance Above & Below within and around us. By year’s end, Mercury will cross into Capricorn on January 1, 2026, setting the tone for a grounded, intentional new year. Everything is different now—whether it’s visible on the surface or quietly reconfiguring your foundation within, no one is exempt from the changes & upgrades.

Mercury Retrograding through Fire & Water signs deepens the process, insisting that our ideas hold more than clever words—they must be infused with Soul, meaning & truth. No more superficial or distracting notions. This is a time to dig deep, to let your creativity be fertilized by Spirit and to allow fresh concepts to channel through you that are alive with authenticity & rooted in your own integrity. At the same time, Neptune is returning to Pisces for its final pass, joining Jupiter & Saturn in Water Signs, while Uranus & Pluto—the great Change Agents—hold strong in Air Signs. This means that we have to change our vision in order to change our future and no one can do it alone, so we need each other. This cosmic arrangement reminds us that our emotional bodies must guide the way forward. If it doesn’t feel right, it cannot truly sustain your Soul. This is the season of realignment: reimagining the vision for yourself, your community and the world at large. Ask yourself: How has your vision evolved over the last 10-20-30-years? Where are you ready to commit to what truly protects & inspires you on the deepest levels?

As the personal planets join the dance this month, the energies become even more tangible. Venus, the Sacred Feminine, leads the way, bringing ease, grace & insight to your relationships & resources. She will help you see what must be grounded or structured to manifest the dream you are holding at this time. Stay open & receptive and notice messages, synchronicities & confirmations as they present themselves in your day-to-day routine. Then Mars, the Sacred Masculine, engages Jupiter & Saturn, igniting your New Truth, Purpose that comes out of new, emerging desires, activating all new choices & actions going forward. Here lies the initiation of your own next level, along with the stamina, vision & courage to do the hard work of building something that will last, be aligned & offer meaning & value. Effort invested now will be rewarded in ways that affirm your path in the very near future. The choices we make now will also have reverberations far into the future (think: 10-20-30 years).

Finally, Mercury joins the crew on its first pass before Retrograding, offering a preview of what will soon be up for review, revision & renewal. For those with strong Scorpio or Sagittarius or Fire & Water placements, this will feel especially personal. This is not a time for rash decisions; it is a time to think with your feelings, to lean into discernment and to listen deeply to your own inner guidance. October invites us to slow down, recalibrate & reconnect with our SoulSelves, so that we can write a New Story and choose a New Direction rooted in truth & authenticity, centered in the heart and aligned with your greatest vision of the future.

So essentially, we are going inward to commune with the Soul during Oct/Nov/Dec so that, come January, we are clear about the Path & Direction of the new year and ready for a completely new beginning like we haven’t seen in decades.
