October 2025 Energy Report, Jennifer Hoffman, 7 October 2025

And we are out of September and into a new month. That August to September timeline was rough, with so much going on it was hard to keep up. If you are feeling a little overwhelmed and overwrought, you are not alone. It was tough for everyone. Everyone I spoke to talked about how challenging the times have been. But it does get better.

October ushers in a new action oriented and energy packed month but the action now comes from us. We have been equipped with the information and resources we need to take action, now we just need to do it. October’s double 10 energy blueprint inspires action, alignment, and new pathways of potential. It’s not time to sit and relax although planning is necessary. This is a call to action and we’re in the spotlight.

---

The first thing I noticed about October is the double 10 energy. October is the 10th month and October 2025 is a 10 (10 + 2025 = 10).  Remember in numerology you break numbers down to single digits between 1 and 9. After the double 9 of September, which created completion, closure, and release, October’s 10 energy means action, movement, and reclamation. 10 is the staff of action, 1, with the 0 of potential. 0 is not ‘nothing’, it is no thing, pure potential waiting for us to set an intention for energy to manifest.

And one more thing about October, in the midst of the action, the month opens with the moon in  Capricorn, harkening back to the heavy Capricorn action we had from 2020 to 2024 with both Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and the infamous Saturn/Pluto conjunction of March 2020. This is  not a dire prediction of bringing back the restrictions, evil, and 3D energies of that time. Rather it’s time for reckoning, not reconciliation and I believe that in October we are going to see many examples of reckoning and retribution.

October’s full moon on the 6th is a call to action, taking us from the heavy lessons of Virgo and Pisces in August and September to the bold, brave action of Aries with some cautions. It is not the time to go blasting off into the stratosphere; rather, it’s time to make careful plans and focus on elevation, rather than escape. Take the careful planning of Virgo, together with the highest potential of Pisces and use that to plan deliberate, intentional action.

Then we have new moon on October 21 at 28 Libra, just as the Sun moves into Virgo within 24 hours. Does that remind you of anything? We had something similar happen with the Equinox on September 21, with the new moon followed by the sign change.  This is support for aligned action, universal alignment, and synchronicity. The Universe is supporting us on every step of the way, even if it feels like we often walk alone.

And Pluto turns direct on the 14th, leaving its retro action that began in early May. This is significant because ever since Pluto has been in Aquarius, since November 2024, it has been quietly holding 5D space for us, reminding us that this is our objective. It is pointing the way with the kind of clarity and realization you can’t miss or ignore – like a foghorn blaring in an otherwise quiet port.

Pluto does not force us to do anything – it is a prime example of the Universal power that gives us options while making it very clear that misaligned choices have quick consequences. Pluto is the first of the outer planets to leave its retrograde, the rest will follow throughout the rest of the year and into early 2026. No force, no pressure, just relentless, strong  suggestions as to where we are heading and where our energy should be pointing.

Pluto reminds me of the bright yellow blinking road signs that warn of upcoming curves or hills. They are silent indicators of the need to be vigilant and slow down, but they don’t make a sound. And if you ignore them you will suffer the consequences.

Pluto in early Aquarius has another blessing for all of the generation born from 1956 to 1970, with an emphasis on the birthdays from 1956 to 1961, who have Neptune in Scorpio. It is squaring that placement and that is awakening this generation to both the end of their karma cycles and the beginning of a new level of spiritual awareness that focuses on reclaiming their power and moving into 5D energies. So if you are feeling the need to bust out of the limitations of your karma, to free yourself of the restrictions of light work, to move away from toxic relationships without forgiveness, this is why.

The light worker frequency and soul mission were necessary for all of us at one time. But they are no longer relevant now that there is a clear path to 5D living. Where we once had to bring reconciliation and karma resolution to our soul groups and karma cycles, we have done that. We passed the test even if the result was not healing and full restitution of ‘family ties’. That was never the objective in the first place although that is what we believed.

The truth of what we wanted to achieve and could hope to accomplish is far different. We were supposed to bring the light to the darkness, but not hold the light up until our arms collapsed from sheer exhaustion. We agreed to join our karma groups for one last time together, coming to an inflection point where we realized that the light we offered was truly not what they wanted and to see our rejection as an exit point, not a reason to stay on until our lights were dimmed down to almost nothing, or put out.

This is a new paradigm for us because healing and light work have been part of our mission for so long and we have been good and faithful stewards of the light and as Portal Keepers, guardians of ascension. But that role is changing and we have to change with it. October’s message is clear, let go of what you can no longer serve and move on.  I know most people talk about letting go of what no longer serves you but that makes the choice a reaction, not a deliberate intention.

Instead, we need to realize where our energy is not wanted or needed, to accept rejection as a statement of completion, closure, and release. We cannot do anything for people who do not want our help and not recognizing the rejection as their truth is being spiritually arrogant. It may be a sobering realization to accept that everyone does not want the light and to move on from that mission to shining our light where it is wanted and needed, starting with ourselves.

This recognizes others’ energetic sovereignty and acknowledges our own limited energy resources and our need to stop letting others drain our energy and take advantage of us. This can be energetic manipulation – rejecting our light and energy while making us believe that change is possible, if we continue to give energy. It is not. And this is one  way that some people ‘borrow’ our energy (sounds better than energy vampires) and keep us involved in toxic forgiveness cycles and endless drama and chaos. They prey on our healing mission and use it to their advantage.

And while we are dispelling popular myths, let’s not call moving forward a ‘leap of faith’. We don’t need to count on faith for success. We have been purified in the crucible, whatever was holding us back or dragging us down is clearly evident and we have reclaimed our power. This is deliberate, intentional action that propels us into clear new pathways of potential that are perfectly aligned with our light, goals, energy, and possibilities. We don’t need to hope we’ll make it, we need to have faith in ourselves and to remember that the Universe is our companion but it’s our navigator, not our chauffeur.

October’s energy theme is Balanced Reality, incorpoating the Libra energy of October with our ongoing ascension cycle of balanced 3D/5D integration. We need our 3D presence for the expression of 5D energy. And anyone who tells you that we don’t need 3D is a charlatan. Our best energetic experience happens with balance – downloads and expressions, inflows and outflows, giving and receiving, and self care.

We get the self care message from Venus, Libra’s ruler which encourages us to take care of ourselves, to rest, relax, practice indulgence with ourselves, and to look out for our own needs before trying to take care of someone else. This becomes more important through the rest of the year as we deal with Saturn and Neptune in the final degrees of Pisces before they both move into Aries in early 2026. What spiritual lessons do we still have to learn? What spiritual aspects must we grow and expand? How do we negotiate our spirituality in a material world? How do we stay on the collective ascension journey  while also managing our spiritual path?

These are our questions for October as we move into this 10 month with action as its imperative, 5D expansion as its objective, and our peace, joy, love, and abundance as its rewards.

If you are ready to take aligned, intentional action, to stop trying to ‘heal the world’ as you navigate your own ascension path in a more powerful, aligned, joyful, and balanced way, you’ll enjoy October’s energies. Have a wonderful month.
