January arrives like a quiet drumbeat, calling us back into right-relationship with life itself—into deeper devotion to love, kinship, and the circles we choose to belong to. Family now is not only blood, but soul-family, community, lineage, and the living Earth Herself. This month opens the medicine of commitment: tending what feeds you, protecting what matters, and honoring the bonds that hold you steady while the world shifts. January does not rush; it asks you to root, to listen, and to remember where your loyalty truly lives.

With Venus, Mars, Mercury, and the Sun all stirring new cycles, you are being supported to reclaim Inner Authority. This is about organizing your energy, stabilizing your spirit, and choosing consciously how to show up in your own life. Old patterns of desire & value have completed their teachings. New ones are emerging—and they require new vessels, new rhythms, and new ways of expressing what you care about. Do not try to pour new wine into old skins. Let your daily practices, relationships & responsibilities reflect who you are becoming, not who you were trained to be.

A 2-year chapter has closed, and the Ancestors are asking a simple, powerful question: What do you want to be known for now? What is the offering you are preparing to bring forward—for your people, your community, your descendants, and the generations yet unborn? January is not about perfection; it is about intention. Set your course with honesty, humility & devotion. When your values are clear and your containers are strong, your life becomes a living prayer—and your contribution becomes a blessing.

Before I jump in, I want to say that I am connecting the Sacred Crafts Night to our Aquarius Gate of Power Fire Ceremony. On Sun/Feb 1st, we will gather for our regular Fire Ceremony and go over the Energetic Support for the Season and that includes your Sacred Crafting, which we will do together on zoom on Wed/Feb 11th. This gathering is for those who feel ready to create with intention, to weave your prayers into form, and to anchor your medicine through a sacred object that can accompany you on your journey into 2026.

I am going to lay out this month in sections because every piece matters and it lays the foundation for what will evolve in the coming year. The month starts out the personal planets in Capricorn and ends the month with them moving through Aquarius. Except for the Sun & Moon, all the planets retrograde in a regular rhythm and all of them have been recently reset in deep, permanent ways. And because we are talking about the personal planets, it is primarily about you, the individual. However, they are all interacting with the social/collective planets who are interacting with each other in a rare opportunity to consciously co-create.

When Mars walks through Capricorn (Dec/Jan), the Ancestors place a steady drumbeat beneath our feet. This is not reckless fire; this is the sacred heat of endurance, the kind that knows how to tend a long flame. Mars here teaches us how to move with purpose, how to honor effort as a prayer, how to let discipline become devotion. Action becomes ceremony. Each choice, each step, each boundary is a way of saying I am responsible for my own life force. This energy supports us in building something that can hold our spirit—not rushed, not flashy, but strong enough to last. Mars in Capricorn reminds us that true power comes from pacing ourselves, listening to the body, and allowing solitude to sharpen our focus. What we build now carries Ancestral weight; it is meant to stand, to shelter, and to serve future generations.

With Venus entering Capricorn (Dec/Jan), love puts on its work clothes and asks some deeper questions. Not just who or what do you love, but what are you willing to tend, protect & sustain? Venus here is the elder who teaches us self-worth through responsibility, reminding us that care is not separate from structure. This is the medicine of Inner Authority—choosing commitments that reflect our values, releasing what drains us, and building foundations that nourish both body & spirit. Venus in Capricorn supports us in crafting lives that feel safe, dignified & aligned with our own truth. This is not about coldness or sacrifice; it is about mature love—the kind that knows joy grows best when it has strong roots. When we honor our worth, our resources & our responsibilities, beauty becomes something we live inside of, not something we chase.

As Mercury enters Capricorn (Jan), the mind becomes a tool of clarity rather than confusion. This is sober thinking, Ancestral thinking—the voice that says, let us speak what we mean and communicate with a clear intention. Mercury here helps us review the stories that we have been telling ourselves and asks whether they are true or enduring enough to carry us forward. Thoughts can become blueprints. Words can become commitments. This energy supports us in choosing narratives rooted in integrity, practicality & long-term vision. It asks us to examine the ideas that we have inherited, the promises we have made, and the mental structures that we live within—and to revise them with the wisdom of the Soul’s purpose. Mercury in Capricorn reminds us that clear thinking is a form of protection and that conscious language can shape a future that honors both personal truth and collective responsibility. Together, these Capricorn allies—Mars, Venus, and Mercury—form a Council of Elders, guiding us to build lives that are intentional, sustainable & deeply aligned with the Soul’s true purpose.

1/6 • When Venus & Sun meet in Capricorn, the Ancestors turn the light toward what you, the individual, are here to create on your own and with your relationships, partnerships & collaborations. This is not creativity for mere entertainment; this is beauty with purpose, love with direction and value with dedication. The Sun warms Venus and says, let your values become visible, let what you cherish take form in the world and prepare to manifest whatever you focus on and feed with your time, energy & resources. This activation seeds a new creative cycle—one rooted in maturity, intention & self-respect. Your magnetism grows not because you are seeking attention, but because you are aligned with what matters and are glowing from within. Love moves through you as a creative force, illuminating relationships, projects & possibilities that are ready to be tended. This is a moment to welcome support, especially from the Sacred Masculine within and around you, and to trust that what you begin now carries the light needed to grow steady & strong.

1/7 • With Venus & Mars joined in Capricorn, the Sacred Feminine & Masculine clasp hands and remember why they were never meant to be separated. Desire here is not reckless—it is deliberate. This energy awakens a deep hunger for real connection: touch, companionship, collaboration & community. After seasons of isolation and self-reliance, the Spirit remembers it is human and longs to share warmth. Whether this energy moves through relationship, creativity, or collective work, it asks to be expressed through commitment & care. Even if no one stands before you, this union can ignite your Inner Artist, fueling creations born from devotion rather than urgency or desperation. 1/9 • As the Sun & Mars unite in Capricorn, willpower sharpens and identity steps forward with a deeper sense of inner authority. This is the fire that says, I know who I am, and I am ready to act. When desire & purpose align, energy flows cleanly, and forward movement becomes inevitable. This is not the time to move from ego or insecurity; those shadows only turn heat into friction. Instead, this alignment invites you to activate a New Self—one who chooses consciously, acts responsibly, and directs power & resources toward meaningful goals. The Ancestors remind us that strength is most potent when guided by clarity. Used wisely, this energy propels you into leadership over your own life, strengthening both personal & professional paths.

1/18 • When Mercury meets Mars in Capricorn, thought becomes action and words carry consequence. This is fast-moving medicine, sharpened and exacting, asking for integrity in every exchange. The mind is charged with fire, capable of cutting through confusion or stirring unnecessary conflict, depending on how it is wielded. When guided by responsibility, this energy fuels bold ideas, clear articulation & creative momentum that can shift consciousness itself. When misused, it scatters power through petty struggles and ego-driven noise. This activates a new cycle of mental & creative flow, reminding us that ideas are not neutral—they are alive. Choose your words with care. Let your thoughts serve creation, not distraction. In Capricorn, this is the work of self-mastery: aligning mind, will & action so that what you speak & pursue builds something worthy of the future that you are shaping.

1/9 • When Venus in Capricorn stands opposite Jupiter in Cancer, the Ancestors smile and caution us at the same time. This is pleasure with a lesson inside it. The body wants sweetness, warmth, laughter, good food, good company—and Spirit says, yes… and listen. This is a midpoint moment, a place of reckoning in love and creativity, where we ask: Does this still nourish me? Does this still feel true? Venus in Capricorn asks for discernment & responsibility, while Jupiter in Cancer invites abundance, emotional generosity & deep feeling. Together they teach us that joy must be tended like a garden—celebrated, but not overrun. This energy supports creative flowering & relational honesty, helping us expand what is meaningful while gently releasing what no longer feeds the soul.

1/10 • As the Sun in Capricorn opposes Jupiter in Cancer, identity meets belief, and the question becomes one of balance. The ego stretches toward possibility while the inner child wants to run free, and neither is wrong. This is an initiation into wisdom through moderation. Optimism rises, courage swells, and the temptation is to overreach—to promise too much, to preach truth instead of being a living example of it. The Elders whisper: come back to center. This opposition illuminates a turning point in spiritual development, revealing where growth requires maturity, not excess. When grounded self-awareness meets emotional expansion, confidence becomes humility and leadership becomes service. Stabilize here, and your life can widen with grace rather than strain.

1/10 • With Mars in Capricorn opposing Jupiter in Cancer, desire encounters destiny. This is powerful medicine for visioning—seeing far, aiming high & taking deliberate action toward something larger than yourself. Mars provides the stamina & discipline; Jupiter supplies faith, meaning & the bigger picture. But this is not energy for reckless conquest. When ego tries to lead, power scatters. When higher purpose guides the will, momentum becomes miraculous. This opposition teaches us how to act without forcing, how to pursue greatness while respecting the body’s limits and the soul’s timing. Expand your consciousness, not your exhaustion. When strength serves wisdom, your efforts land exactly where they are meant to.

1/14 • When Mercury in Capricorn faces Jupiter in Cancer, the mind stretches to hold both the details & the dream. This is the tension between strategy & imagination, between what you know & what you believe is possible. It is an invitation into dialogue—with yourself and with others—where ideas are shared in circle, not hierarchy. This is Council of Elders energy: listening as much as speaking, valuing multiple perspectives & allowing insight to arrive sideways, as it occasionally does. The Ancestors encourage collaboration, learning & structured play—those sacred jam sessions where truth emerges through exchange. When Mercury grounds Jupiter’s vision and Jupiter uplifts Mercury’s thinking, consciousness expands without losing coherence. This is how wisdom grows—through respectful conversation, open minds, and a willingness to see from the other side of the path.

In between, while still in Capricorn, the personal planets are going to mix it up with Saturn, Neptune & Uranus with ease & opportunities which suggests that they can help carry along your intentions if you are clear and if not, then they will help you clarify your path & purpose. Then, they move into Aquarius and link up with Pluto for the ultimate rebirth & transformation, rooted in your unique contribution and place within the community that you share it with – as you travel your own path.

1/17 • When Venus moves through Aquarius, she loosens the knots around the heart & reminds us that love was never meant to be a cage. This is the medicine of the Visionary Feminine—the one who knows her worth, honors her sovereignty & chooses connection without losing her true Self. Venus in Aquarius teaches us to love in ways that are spacious, honest & aligned with our deepest values. She encourages us to withdraw energy from relationships, agreements or obligations that shrink the spirit or dim your light, and to gather instead with those who recognize your light and amplify it instead. This is not love for approval; this is love as truth-telling. Yet the Elders remind us: do not float so high in service to humanity that you forget to sit with one another, breathe together, be in touch with present moment. The future we dream of must be practiced now, in real relationships, with real presence, in sacred communities.

1/20 • As Mercury enters Aquarius, the mind is liberated from old scripts & tired stories. This is the trickster-teacher energy that shakes loose rigid thinking and invites revelation through curiosity, dialogue, and radical perspectives. Mercury here speaks the language of possibility. It asks us to review who we thought we were, what we thought we were here to do, and whether those ideas still fit the shape of our becoming. Old identities fall away not as punishment, but as preparation. The Ancestors whisper: keep what is true, release what is heavy. This is a powerful moment to invite new language, new ideas & new ways of communicating with both Spirit & community. Let your thoughts travel unfamiliar roads. Let your words disrupt stagnation and then follow through with conscious actions & choices. Clarity will not come from certainty—it will come from being open, present & receptive.


1/23 • With Mars in Aquarius, the fire of action becomes electric, inventive & uncontainable. This is movement guided by intuition rather than force, courage fueled by experimentation rather than control. Mars here demands freedom—not chaos, but flexibility. He urges us to act on inspired ideas, to try something different, to follow the spark even when the destination is unclear. This is Warrior Energy for the Future-Minded Soul, the one who understands that progress requires risk and that learning comes through movement & experience. Mars in Aquarius reminds us not to grip outcomes too tightly; innovation flows best when we stay curious & detached. What you initiate now may ripple far beyond your own personal life, touching the wider world in ways that you cannot yet see. Trust the impulse to do it differently. The path forward is not behind you—it is being invented as you move forward, step-by-step, choice-by-choice.

1/19 • When Venus meets Pluto in Aquarius, love steps into the fire and comes out changed. This is an initiation of the heart and the values that guide it. What you once cherished may no longer fit the shape of who you are becoming, and that is not loss—it is evolution. Venus here teaches that love is a transforming force, not a comfort zone. Old priorities fall away so deeper truth can rise. Relationships, finances & self-worth all feel the heat of purification, asking to be aligned with integrity rather than mindless habit. This energy supports profound Soul Level connections, but only when power is shared, not hoarded. As you change, your circles must change too. Let what is outdated go with dignity, and allow what is real to grow stronger roots.

1/21 • With Mercury joining the Sun in Aquarius, the light of consciousness moves through the mind & the voice at the same time. This is a birth moment for new ideas, new language & new ways of expressing who you are in the world. Communication becomes medicine when it flows in both directions—speaking & listening, teaching & learning. This alignment opens pathways for insight through conversation, travel, study, and even wandering beyond familiar territory. The Ancestors say: follow curiosity. Pay attention to the signals coming in from different channels. For those who stay grounded, this is a moment when your thoughts & words can truly make a difference, illuminating new possibilities not just for yourself, but for the collective as well.

1/22 • As Mercury then merges with Pluto in Aquarius, the mind descends into sacred depths. This is not surface talk; this is Truth-seeking, Soul-speaking energy. Thoughts intensify, perceptions sharpen, and the urge is to get to the root of things—your motives, your fears, your unspoken knowing—becomes undeniable. This activation opens a brief but powerful channel to the deeper mind, where buried wisdom waits to be remembered. It is best used inwardly: for journaling, prayer, ritual & honest self-inquiry. Beware the temptation to control through words or to cling to one perspective as absolute truth. This energy supports revelation, not domination. Listen closely—your SoulSelf is speaking.

1/23 • When the Sun aligns with Pluto in Aquarius, identity itself enters the crucible. This is the yearly rebirth of the Self, where hidden aspects rise into the light & illusions fall away. Circumstances do not create this change—they reveal what is already there and ready to be birthed anew. This can feel intense, even uncomfortable, as old skins loosen and new authenticity demands space. Yet this is the medicine of empowerment. You are being invited to reclaim Source energy, to release what no longer reflects your truth, and to embody who you are becoming. Power struggles may arise if the ego resists this transformation, but wisdom lies in choosing change & illumination over control & shadow issues. Let breakdowns become the breakthroughs. This is how the light learns to live inside you.

1/27 • When Mars meets Pluto in Aquarius (every 2-years for the next 20-years), the Sacred Masculine undergoes a profound cleansing & renewal. This is raw, volcanic power—capable of destruction or creation, depending on who is at the helm. Mars supplies the drive; Pluto demands transformation. Together, they insist that action be aligned with Higher Will, not ego. This is not the old warrior path of domination and isolation, but a new initiation into communal responsibility and conscious power. Anger may surface where freedom feels blocked, yet this is actually an invitation to innovate rather than explode. Over the coming years, this repeated cycle will teach us how deeply connected we truly are—one species, one Earth, one shared fate. This energy supports the birth of the Modern Steward: one who acts with courage, clarity & care for the whole. The question now is not can you serve, but how will you lead?

The last two important alignments this month are with Saturn, Uranus & Neptune. Let’s start with when Saturn in Pisces reaches across to Uranus in Taurus, the Elders gather and speak softly but firmly: now is the time to make the changes livable. This is rare medicine, a once-in-a-generation opening where the old world and the new world agree to cooperate rather than collide. Saturn brings patience, maturity & spiritual discipline; Uranus brings innovation, liberation & the courage to do things differently. Together, they offer steady ground beneath the shifting tides. This energy supports you in taking the dreams that have been moving through your intuition and giving them form—slowly, carefully, with respect for what must endure. This is not about rushing the future; it is about preparing for it.

Saturn leads the rhythm here, asking for organization, strategy & humility as you navigate the current learning curve. What you build now—if it is rooted in truth & adaptability—can support you for many years to come. The Ancestors remind us that stability does not mean stagnation; it means creating structures flexible enough to grow as you grow & develop. Give yourself grace as you integrate new ways of living, working & relating. Do not panic when the ground shifts beneath you—prepare by choosing change consciously. What survives this season of testing is likely meant to stay. Call on your Inner Elder, that wise part of you that knows when to wait, when to act & when to trust the long view.

This alignment also teaches that no one is meant to do this alone. Community is part of the medicine now. Bring your gifts to the circle and allow others to contribute what you cannot. Collaboration strengthens the foundation for everyone. You are not living the same life you were living 7—or even 32—years ago, and that is something to honor & acknowledge, not mourn. Choose change consciously, so it does not have to force its way in. Resistance only makes the road harder. Saturn & Uranus are midwives of a new era, asking you to welcome it with courage, responsibility & imagination. This is the beginning of a long unfolding. Walk it with intention and stay present in your own body & mind.

Finally, Neptune steps across the threshold into Aries once and for all (next 14-years), the Ancestors whisper that healing now requires both a strong back and a soft heart. This is not a season for spiritual sleepwalking. This is a call to wake up, to face old wounds without flinching, and to let illusion fall away like an old skin. Neptune dissolves what we have pretended was true, while Aries lights the fire of becoming. Together they ask us to heal by aligning action with Spirit—not forcing outcomes, not conquering, but moving in right-relationship with the greater web of life. Courage now is not loud or violent; it is devotional. It is the bravery to trust your Soul’s knowing and to step forward even when the path is still forming beneath your feet.

Over the next 14-years, outdated stories about power, leadership, identity & separation will quietly unravel. Neptune in Aries dissolves false heroism and returns us to authentic sovereignty—the right to be here, the right to act in integrity, the responsibility to know where you end and another begins. This is a time to be fierce about your boundaries, especially energetic & spiritual ones, because confusion is part of this initiation. On the collective level, systems rooted in conquest, domination & delusion will be exposed, while new visions of leadership rooted in compassion, imagination & shared humanity begin to rise. Your purpose cannot survive if it is only about you; it must be woven into the living fabric of community, Earth & future generations as well.

This is the rebirth of the Spiritual Warrior, not the soldier of empire but the one who clears the past, surveys the present & prepares for the future with prayerful choices & conscious actions. Revolution now moves underground—through art, ritual, story, music & quiet networks of trust. Spiritual activism asks you to be adaptable, discerning & devoted to something larger than you or your ego. The shadow shows up as confusion, victimhood, escapism, or glorified conflict—but the medicine is accountability, community & daily spiritual practice. Stay close to your Spirit Team. Be vigilant in tending to your own Inner Fire. Choose courage guided by compassion. This is how a new collective dream is born—not through force, but through conscious, Spirit-led action that remembers: we are many, we are connected & we are not alone.
