​The theme for February is “Go For It!”

The month starts out with a potent full moon in Leo supporting the clarity of our passions but testing our courage, self-esteem and motivation at the same time. There is an energy to this month that is relentless in its task to push us in the direction of our purpose and liberate us from what is in the way. You will see this in the bigger picture of world events, politics and social reform as well.

It is best not to get distracted by the drama playing out on the world stage but look to your own inner process instead. This is truly a revolutionary time and if you avoid, disassociate, or dig your heels in refusing to change, you will not be a happy camper at the end of the month. So get with the program of your truth, your own path, your own creativity, your own passion and your own inner wisdom that knows what and where to “go for it”.

For some of you the sorting process of January may not feel quite complete. If so, continue clearing and sorting. The difference this month is that if something needs to go, it will be swept out from under you if you do not take responsibility and do it proactively for yourself. This energy is a bit ruthless so pay attention. And, if something does leave your life suddenly, be grateful that the universe has stepped in so efficiently.

The main question you will be asking yourself this month is “what is in the way, what is keeping me from following my dream?” “Go for it” does not necessarily mean taking action physically. It may mean letting go of a belief or idea that is in your way first. It may mean creating space for future action. It may mean gathering support for a new direction. It may also mean making a personal commitment to move towards that dream or desire. Work with this question and when you get clarity, go for it. It will most likely require courage, a leap of faith, and taking a risk. Make sure you follow the wisdom of your heart, your own intuition and not what your mind “thinks” you ought to do.

The first half of the month is still somewhat of a set up giving you a bit of time to get your ducks in a row before the explosion of energy on the 17th with a new moon, an eclipse, and the start of the Chinese New Year, the year of the fire horse. This is when everything jumps forward and we can see great upheaval and a bit of chaos, possible crisis, and lots of movement towards change, liberation and revolution. There is an aspect to these times that is not only personal and personally motivated, but socially conscious at the same time. Community, cooperation and collaborative efforts and projects are highlighted and you will feel a desire to be part of something as well as needing support for your own path.

One of the aspects of the month is the importance of bringing spirituality and your spiritual life into relationship with your physical everyday life. This is well supported and should become part of your daily focus. There is an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how dreams and aspirations that are not yet manifest can be grounded in physical reality to become manifest. This is a theme that will be with us for a while and it begins this month. So pay attention to signs, your intuition, synchronicity and what is leaving your life and what is coming in. If you find yourself struggling with your self esteem or experiencing blocks where nothing seems to be working, examine your motivation. Is this truly authentic and coming from your heart? Or is this intention something you “think” you ought to have, do or be? If it is not right, it will be a huge struggle or won’t work.

How the month shows up:

YOU PERSONALLY

This is a truth-telling time of discovery, rediscovery, commitment, passion, personal expression, creativity, ruthlessness, change, transformation and progress. Your spiritual life becomes very important and if you do not have good practices that keep you connected with spirit you may begin to feel like a boat in the middle of the ocean without a compass and a rudder. At the same time, you cannot live full time in dreamland and spiritual practices. Finding balance is grounding your dreams in practical action and acknowledging that your spiritual connection also feeds your physical reality and the process of manifesting. There will be times this month where asking for what you want and need will be effortless, provided you are on the right track.

So make your spiritual connection a primary focus and keep asking the questions needed to gain clarity about authentic purpose, passion, and right path. Then go for it.

RELATIONSHIPS

The inclusion of social awareness and the need for community engagement influences relationships this month. It is a good time to form alliances, start partnerships, gather others for collaborative efforts and reach out to new connections. Use your intuition regarding who is on the same page as you are, especially around spiritual matters. If you set a strong intention to magnetize the agreements that you have for support, inspiration and knowledge, it should be very clear when they show up.

At the same time, there will be those leaving your life, either by choice or by your own sorting process. This can be bittersweet but think of the liberation aspect of creating space as you release an obligation no longer in alignment with your path forward. At the same time, if you have been dancing around an attraction, have the courage to take that leap forward and reach out. If your self-esteem gets in the way, ask yourself, what is the fear? Ask spirit to help you then go for it. It is also a great month for current important relationships with the opportunity to infuse them with more passion, to explore new ideas, experience new adventures and launch new projects.

HEALTH AND THE PHYSICAL BODY

This is a very important area this month. Without the health of your physical body you limit your container through which to experience life. It is crucial to examine any poor habit and make that commitment to improve your health in whatever way will be the most productive. For some it is a change of environment. For others it may be a change of diet or physical activity. It also could be simply a change in attitude or an acceptance of what is necessary. We cannot stress enough how important this awareness is this month.

You have the opportunity to get in charge of your health in a new way, perhaps with a new support system and a new attitude of choosing rather than resisting. Take leadership of your well-being and have the courage to do what you need to do to. Good discipline is always a part of good health and especially necessary when dealing with old habits, patterns and addictions.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND PROJECTS

This is a good month for some action and risk taking in this area as long as it aligns with your intuition and involves others that are on the same page. New partnerships and collaborations are supported, however if you are operating on an old system that really needs to change, the explosive energy later this month just might help you to change it. Areas to revisit and refine this month are finances and investments, new projects, new collaborations you may be invited to a part of, old or current projects and business structures and practices that may need an upgrade or redo, and all your relationships around business dealings in the past and present. Examine without judgment; what did you learn, what can you do better, what is more authentic to where you are now, and what do you have a passion for?

Right timing also plays a big part this month. As you align with new ventures, allow them to unfold organically and be revised as needed.

ENVIRONMENT

These times can be identified as seismic – mostly energetically however, we could see some actual seismic activity as things heat up and the spirit of fire begins to influence actions and reactions. Remember that the earth, weather patterns and environmental events happen to support whatever evolutionary activity is happening on the planet. To work proactively with a seismic influence, look inside to your own quake and necessary release.

There is a lot of pressure building up and nature always has her release valves. Each one of us needs a release valve as well and it is different for everyone. Make sure it is a healthy one! Dancing, running, swimming, any physical activity, being in nature, art, music, writing, reading and any other balancing activities.

DATES AND TIME FRAMES

February 1-7

In this time frame you are likely to get great clarity regarding a lot of things. Focus it mainly on what your intuition tells you and what your heart wants. You may experience bouts of inspiration with bouts of doubt and confusion. You may also be motivated to express your authenticity as well as to acknowledge and tap into what you have a passion for. We are feeling the power of the Full Moon in Leo that initiates the energies this month. Remember that what you set up for yourself this month will influence the whole of 2026. So let’s let it be a really good start.

Full Moon in Leo is Sunday, February 1st at 3:09PM Mountain Standard Time (MST)

This is a passionate, self-expressive full moon that can test our levels of confidence and question our self-esteem but ultimately lead to a new level of inner leadership and power. Authenticity and authentic intentions and expression are key. There is a rebellious quality to the energy especially around issues that are not truly aligned with who you are. This is a time of personal growth and it is best not to get distracted by external chaos and rebellion but rather look inward to where your personal inner revolution might be headed.

Bringing in an energy of fun, play and celebration is also important as it will support whatever process you are in through a higher vibration. It’s a potent time so pay attention, be present, allow emotions to pass through, continue to let go of the old, and keep embracing the magic of what is possible just around the corner.

February 8-14

We shift this week to a focus on the spiritual self. The times bring synchronicity, truth, a deeper connection to intuition, a need to trust in the unseen and unknown, and lots of creative ideas and inspiration. There is a curiosity around what we cannot see, a sense of the spirit world as gaining importance as it aligns to our purpose here on the physical plane. It is a good time to reflect on your own spiritual life, practices and relationship to the unseen. You will have a desire to get organized around this area of your life so it can become a regular part as well as more important to bringing your dreams down to a physical manifestation.

February 15-21

You may see this time frame as truly the beginning of a new cycle, a new year. Certainly with the start of the Chinese year of the Fire Horse, there is a completely new energy arriving that will push and motivate us to take those leaps of faith, ask for what we want and break through what is holding us back from that next step.

Look for new social movements, transformation, liberation from old structures and paradigms, and a new authenticity both personally as well as in communities that are aligned to a common purpose. The new moon and eclipse opens the season of more intensity around just about everything. This window is supportive to personal needs and getting what you ask for so be careful what you ask for. It is also supportive to the arts and creative community collaboration. It is important, however, to use your discernment as well as to lean back into the flow of right timing.

February 22-28

This may be a volatile but transformative time of breakthrough and crisis potentially leading to a significant change in known structures and systems. We can witness it out there in the world, however it will also be a strong influence in our own personal lives, possibly deconstructing something we have become accustomed to. Remember that anything that dissolves makes room and an opening for something new. 

The best way to navigate this time is to be proactive and choose the change and deconstruction instead of resisting it. In this explosive energy, when something breaks down see it as a breakthrough to something else. Mercury goes retrograde on the 26th and can provide us with a very welcome respite in these intense times of activity but pay attention and be present. You may want to go back and revisit some of your recent intentions, goals and projects, take an inventory to see how they are doing and where they may need to be refined. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want and need despite the chaos you may feel around you.

During this time your ideals may be put to the test so it is important to stay connected spiritually to your intuition, inner truth, authentic passion and right action. And so we begin the cycle of bringing our dreams down into physical reality and discovering the relationship between the vision of what we want and the practical physical structures that will make it manifest.
