February 2025 Energy Report, Jennifer Hoffman, 5 February 2025

Well we got through January and what an eventful month it was. If you managed to get through it without leaving something behind, you’re lucky. It was a tough month and very long, in my opinion. But all months come to an end and we move on to the next one, no matter how tough they are.  

If you are looking at the barren landscape of your life as February begins, take heart.  It’s going to be a more balanced month and with no more Mercury in Capricorn transits for the rest of the year (what a relief) we can wave goodbye to the final threads and dust mites of that long Pluto in Capricorn transit.

So in February we can rebuild, restructure, and refresh our realities after the storms of the ‘cornucopia of chaos’ that we saw in January. Aside from being the ’month of love’ since we celebrate Valentine’s Day in this month,  it is the month of leverage as we assess our strengths, move beyond our limitations, and start off on a new path with a  joyful smile on our faces, an uplifting song in our hearts, and our brightest lights to light the way.

February is a pivotal month, in all aspects of that word. Pivotal because it is important as it’s the first month in decades that does not have some kind of Capricorn presence, and because it’s our time to shift gears, go in a different direction, and move ourselves into new paradigms of potential. If the past 20 years and even last month showed you who was on your side and who was not, you now know who your enemies, frenemies, and true friends are and there’s no going back to the old ways of being and doing. ​

We begin with February’s numerology, which is an 11 month (2 + 2025 = 11). Now this breaks down to a 2 but 11 is the first master number and any month that is a master number deserves special attention because there will be lessons and learning, trials and challenges, and new pathways to forge. In 2024 we have two 11 months, November is the other one.

This month is highly charged with spiritual energy, the 5D portals are wide open, high vibe energy is pouring in and we’re highly receptive after January’s energy cleanup. I had a particularly challenging month in January, did you? I thought it was particularly difficult and then realized that sneaky Mercury was in Capricorn, doing the final clean-up work from Pluto’s 16 year transit there.  Mercury is the karma overseer so its presence in  Capricorn from January 6 to 30 was helping us tie up those loose ends. And it was tough, as Mercury transits can be. The good news is that Mercury does not spend any more time in Capricorn this year.

As if to reward us for our hard work in January , February opens with a Venus Neptune conjunction in Pisces, one of the most beautiful and spiritual of all planetary aspects. It doesn’t get much better than this. This sets the stage for the energy in February so let’s make the most of it.

At every point in February there are at least 6 planets in Pisces, including the nodes. And in March Venus retrograde takes it back into Pisces, holding that energetic space while Neptune, which has been in Pisces since 2011, enters Aries on February 28 for a 6 month stay.

This long Neptune in Pisces placement was a constant presence during the most difficult and significant times of our ascension cycle. It started in 2011,  the year before the acclaimed 2012 year, which I think was the beginning of a cycle, not the end of it. We had Neptune in Pisces throughout the difficult Pluto in Capricorn aspects, including the Saturn/Pluto conjunction of 2020 and the tough end of cycle transits in 2023 and 2024.

During those times I described Neptune as our light beacon, holding the spiritual space for our successful completion as we struggled with this ascension cycle. All of the outer planets changed signs, even Pluto, but not Neptune. It has been holding that spiritual space for us steadily since 2011. And as it moves on its understudy, Venus, takes its place.

Venus retrogrades happen about every two years and are not uncommon but they are special when they happen in Pisces, the sign of Venus’ exaltation, meaning its most powerful placement.  

This gives February a spiritual glow and in a month in which we focus on love, with Valentine’s Day on February 14. If you do not have a love to celebrate on that day and you are not into the hype, then celebrate yourself. Send yourself flowers and chocolates, take yourself out to your favorite place for coffee, lunch, or dinner. Buy yourself a gift – just don’t wallow in self-pity because you do not have a romantic partner yet. 2025 may change that, as I mentioned in the 2025 predictions which you can access here.

In February the challenge will be to accept the lessons of January and some of them were not easy. If people showed you their true intentions,  if you learned that that those you thought should love, honor, and respect you did not, if you were betrayed, rejected, judged, and released, celebrate the end of a karmic cycle that is probably long past its use by date.

The powerful new moon in Aquarius of January 29 is still resonating as we enter February and begin the Chinese Year of the Snake. What an appropriate animal totem for a year in which we will be forced to ‘shed our skin’, probably more than once, to take on a new persona that is  more fitting for our empowered, aligned, energetically sovereign self.

As much as we may want to revive old ways of being, they are no longer relevant or available to us. This month we will really understand the concept of energy gaps that cannot be crossed and old energy that is no longer accessible.

 The energy theme for February is Transcension as we move between dimensions and work through another level of our 3D/5D ascension integration. I know we like to think that ascension is a replacement of 3D but that isn’t the case. As I always say,” it is an integration, not a takeover.” It is an energetic integration, as we replace old, outdated, used, and useless 3D energies with their higher vibe 5D counterparts.

One of the things that we can become aware of in February is useless energy, which means that it has no purpose, offers no benefit, and only serves to drag us down instead of lifting us up. The relevance (from the French word relever which means to lift up) of energy becomes important now as we move into a more masterful command of our ascension cycle.

Throughout the past 20 plus years we have been the light workers, now we are the light beacons. We have been the Martyred Healers, now we are the Empowered Masters. We have been the Portal Keepers and energy anchors, now we are the pioneers who are creating our 5D communities and new energetic families.

Our focus must be on rising and expanding, not looking back in frustration and exasperation. I know that there is a temptation to dissect every mean, unkind, rude word and action of your karmic partners and ask ‘why did they do that’ but that is a pointless question that you can never know the answer to. Why, you may ask? Because you would have to be at their energetic frequency and vibration, and have their perspective on the world to be able to answer it and that is something you can never do, nor would you want to.

Sometimes we need to let bygones go on by and just look ahead – and be grateful that you can. Those people who live in the darkness of their anger, jealousy, resentment, and fear will never give themselves the opportunity to know the light, but you have that option and that opportunity. Be grateful for it, even though that is the source of their anger, fear, jealousy, and resentment. If there are people in your life who showed last month that they would rather be in the dark, believe them and send them on their way there. You are free to move on.

February’s word is Life, as we are encouraged to rise up, shine, and get serious about our personal life path. What are you doing that you do not like or want to do? Stop doing it. Create another path. Use your powers to create miracles, manifest, intend a new path, transform the energy. There is nothing stopping you but your own doubt and fear. Here is an acronym to help you with the process: 

L stands for leverage, a word often used in a business context and rarely in the spiritual context but it is important because we never start from zero, with no knowledge or understanding. The key to successful leverage is to use the past as a guide to success in the present. If you remember that someone is difficult, use that knowledge to be prepared. If you know that you always get stuck at a certain point, leverage your fear and doubt to plan ahead. If you can leverage your past you minimize the learning curve and avoid repeating a lot of unhealthy, difficult lessons.

I stands for Intention, the key to energy management and movement, intention creates a container for energy so use intention like a pro, get really good at it. Set an intention for every minute of your day. Intend to have a good day, a safe drive, a great conversation, a fun meeting, a powerful presence.  Intention is not just for miracles or occasional manifestation, it is a tool for everyday use.

F is for Face and that is not your physical face, it means to face your challenges, your fears, yourself, your judges and critics. When our biggest fear is really just a consequence, facing it becomes part of the process of overcoming it. The thing about consequences is that they have already happened, they are not a surprise or a mystery. We do not fear ‘fear,’ we fear consequences so if you admit that, you have most of the problem solved or the decision made.  Then it is less troublesome and the process happens much more quickly.

E is for Expand, which is the nature of 5D energy. Energy is always expansive, it never contracts. We may dial our energy down or dim our light but we cannot contract our energy, we just squeeze it into a smaller space. It is your divine nature to expand so always consider each step on your path as a part of the next step, in a continuous stream of ever expanding energy that elevates and expands your reality.

In every aspect of your life, how can you Leverage, intend, face, and expand your reality?

February’s full moon on the 12th brings Mercury back into play and highlights our new Aquarius paradigm – make the best use of the freedom, creativity, and originality that this full moon energy activates. There is a price to pay though, and it is our ability to release the blocks and limiters to our progress, especially tough and deeply held energies like Grief, which is our biggest block. The new moon on  February 27 reminds me of the January 29 new moon since it also features a Pisces stellium and even though Venus has moved out of that sign, it is stationing retrograde, ready to visit Pisces again in March.  Spiritual energy is our superpower, when we use it with intention and aligned action to manifest the reality that creates joy, peace, love, and abundance.

I can’t leave Mars out of the discussion here even though it plays a background role with Venus and Mercury in the spotlight. Mars is still retrograde in Cancer, and goes direct on February 24.  Mars does not become a bigger issue until it starts heading back to Aquarius for another ‘power to the people’ meeting with Pluto in  Aquarius in March and April.  

Finally, February is a month where we think of love and romance, because of Valentine’s Day. This can be a good time for some people, and a terrible time for others. The word for heart in French is ‘coeur,’ and it is the root for the word courage. We think courage means being brave, unafraid, and confident.

But it doesn’t.

Courage is the presence of heart, not the absence of fear and when we have a strong heart for ourselves, when we give ourselves the love, nurturing, support, and care we want to give to others, we create a strong foundation of courage in our lives and we become unbreakable, fear-free, and empowered.

It’s a month of transformation but that is not a giant leap into a new reality. We get disappointed when we realize that transformation takes time and effort, it is a process of back and forth movement across different dimensional realities, emotional energies, and shifts in frequency and vibration.

When we speak of transformation we have to include the concept of transcension, as we move from one phase of ascension to the next, from one aspect of reality to the next, and from one dimensional plane to another. Our movement has to be measured, purposeful, efficient, and deliberate. We do not jump into a new aspect of our reality; we transcend into it. We do not take wild, random leaps into new ways of being, we move into them in a measured way. Sure we can rush into things but then we always have to go back and redo them. Transformation is part of the process but if you view the entire process as a transcension it is easier to use tools like leverage, intention, and facing yourself as steps on a journey into new potentials and possibilities.

February adds a new dimension to LIFE if we have the patience, courage, diligence, and discipline to allow it to unfold in the best and most perfect way possible. The month is a leap into a new spiritual pool but first we have to learn to swim in these new waters. Stay focused and strong in your intention and have a wonderful month.
