Cosmic Turning Point, Kate Spreckley, 29 June 2026

In these final days of June, several significant astrological events will occur. Yesterday we had Mars, the planet of action and drive, entering Gemini. Today, we have the Full Moon and Mercury stationing retrograde until July 23, and tomorrow, Jupiter enters Leo for the first time in 12 years. These three events serve as one of the most intense and pivotal cosmic turning points of the entire year and will cause a dramatic shift for us all.

As we cross this major energetic threshold, the collective atmosphere moves into a massive elemental transformation. The Full Moon brings a midyear reckoning, illuminating hard truths while providing the grounded discipline we need to close out outdated structural patterns. With Mercury stationing retrograde, our focus is pulled inward into deep emotional memory, intuition, and ancestral ties. This intersection of the Full Moon and Mercury retrograde acts as a spiritual audit. It forces us to stop running from our internal patterns and actively look at where we are sacrificing our emotional truth for outward security. It gives us a rare window to rewrite our internal narratives before moving ahead.

Mars in Gemini wants us to speak, move, and decide quickly. However, the energy is creating a deliberate slowdown, an energetic friction reminding us that acting without reflection only repeats old cycles. The discomfort we feel is the pressure needed to break old habits and end old cycles. On an individual level, you are likely feeling a profound internal tug of war between your head and your heart, your past and your future. A sense of bold momentum and the push outward is conflicted by the inward pull of reflection and closure. Despite the discomfort, you are being urged now to look at your life objectively, and recognise that this energy is upgrading your energy, calling you to express your truest and most authentic self.

Be mindful that these cosmic shifts are pushing you to clear the path so your truest self can emerge, which can only be done when you actively release the old structures that have kept you small. The inner work of release is the exact foundation upon which your future must be built. To navigate this threshold, give yourself permission to pause, and recognise what is ending. Resist the urge to force immediate answers and allow emotions to rise without judging them. Remember that the clarity you seek is waiting on the other side of your willingness to sit with the stillness.
