Ascension Update: Walking with the Sun — The Equinox Gateway and Solar Codes, Sharon-Ann Riley, 18 September 2026

Dear Soul Family,

Holy guacamole, are you feeling like your fingers are stuck in a light socket right now, or is everyone else's internal wiring buzzing just as loud? ⚡️

When the subtle energy fields begin to shift, the environment hums with a palpable electrical current rather than mere noise. On the physical and energetic layers, this is happening in direct response to active space weather, flooding the planetary field with intense photonic light and waves that are actively reprogramming our cellular codex. This influx of photonic light and code explains why the nervous system has been feeling so deregulated lately, as it works overtime to process the upgrade.

As the calendar glides toward the equinox gateway, these global energetic mechanics act like a tuning fork for human biology. Because this seasonal alignment often opens up the static between the earth and the sun, we could also see an uptick in M class flares and perhaps a peekaboo X flare rolling through. At the same time, the Schumann resonance has been catching noticeable frequency spikes and wild oscillations, while Chiron turns up the volume on core vulnerability and deep seated healing points, asking old sensitive spots for direct acknowledgment before they dissolve. The subtle grid lines are humming with a profound electrical current, which frequently correlates with sudden waves of deep integration, shifting sleep patterns, and a complete recalibration of standard vitality.

Yet alongside that high voltage current, the transition loves to play hide and seek with your energy. One moment your living room feels totally clear and you are cruising along just fine, and the next, your motivation quietly wanes and things feel a little flat before bouncing right back. It is just your physical vehicle processing a massive upgrade, clearing space so you can step into a bigger, brighter version of your everyday life.

Underneath that shifting transition, those sensitive to subtle energy anatomy may feel these intense waves acting as a pure electrical ignition. Dormant light body meridians and higher frequency grid points are beginning to flash online, signaling a massive turning point away from old, exhausting maintenance loops and toward an entirely upgraded operating system that is ultimately expanding your capacity to hold a much larger, more expansive lived reality.

It is easy to wonder when the clearing will finally finish, especially when a brand new wave rolls in just as you thought you crossed the finish line. But the deeper realization is that there is no final destination on this path. Instead of trying to fix or finish every little thing, the real anchor is simply choosing the most loving path for yourself and staying closely connected to your inner being. That ongoing relationship is the true way forward.

Looking ahead through the next six months, this phase brings a deeply internal manifestation cycle where your spiritual, emotional, and physical layers finally meet and integrate. Rather than pushing outward, this period invites you to bring all those parts of yourself into balance, fully embracing a frequency of profound love, abundance, and unconditional alignment. Naturally, as all of that starts settling into your field, your physical vehicle tends to send up a few flares.

For many Empaths, Sensitives, and Starseeds navigating this wave, it often brings a classic round of ascension flu alongside a few other familiar ascension symptoms. Here is what is showing up right now:

Ascension Flu: Post nasal drip, allergy like symptoms, sneezing, tearing, an incessant dry cough, and a dry mouth that leaves you feeling thirsty much more often. Because the physical vehicle burns through a tremendous amount of fuel during solar flares and timeline jumps, you may need extra water to help clear out the system.

Teeth, Jaw, and Gum Sensitivity: Often accompanied by TMJ or nighttime bruxism as the physical body processes deep foundation shifts and quietly holds tension.

The Sensory Awakening: Persistent ringing in the ears or tinnitus as the subtle energy bodies tune to higher frequencies, alongside dry eyes, visual floaters, and quiet flashes of light or orbs in your peripheral field.

The Empathic Expansion: Heightened emotional sensitivity and deep empathy. Because you are going to feel more sensitive than normal, it is a wonderful time to practice good energetic hygiene to keep your field clear and protected.

The Musculoskeletal Shift: As the meridians process an increase of light, tension settles right into the areas where emotions get stored the most. While you might feel this shifting anywhere in the body, it is showing up most in the following areas: the neck, shoulders, and shoulder joints holding the weight of carrying too much, and the upper and lower back processing the deep structural pressure of shifting foundations. Then there are the hips and knees, which can feel heavy, swollen, and inflamed as old emotional patterns release. Finally, the extremities, meaning the toes, feet, and hands, experience this pressure because they are literally how we engage with the world, create our reality, and move forward. When the joints feel stiff and hard to move, it is simply the physical body integrating massive energetic recalibrations down to our very roots.

The Nervous System and Sleep Cycle: The nervous system feels overstimulated right now, often kicking off morning anxiety or waking up in that mode. Many are also waking up like clockwork between 2:00 and 6:00 in the morning because the body is handling astral work overnight, throwing the circadian rhythm slightly out of balance. When that morning wave hits, a simple, conscious breath can help ground the energy.

Nostalgia and Past Connections: It is a deeply emotional window filled with waves of nostalgia, going over old emotional ground, and revisiting past relationships. People from your past are also making cameo appearances, showing up in dreams as old timelines clear out.

Spiritual Awakening and Psychic Awareness: A profound wave of spiritual awakening and psychic awareness is coming online right now. Because of this, it is a powerful time to dive into metaphysical studies, explore esoteric subjects, and really lean in to discover and hone your natural gifts and talents.

Digestion and The Gut Connection: Because digestion is so closely wired into the nervous system, your tummy might feel a bit iffy and sensitive right now. One day you are extra hungry, the next your appetite shifts completely, and it can literally change day to day. The most supportive approach here is simply to listen to your body, notice what feels good as you move forward, stay calm, and do whatever you need to do to soothe and nurture yourself through it.

Heart Palpitations and Fluttering

Skin and Complexion Changes: Sudden rashes, dry patches, or breakouts as you release old emotions.

Clumsiness and Spatial Disorientation: Bumping into things and feeling slightly ungrounded.

Vertigo and Dizziness: Feeling off balance or lightheaded as the physical vehicle recalibrates to higher frequencies.

Frequent Urination: Noticing an increase in bathroom trips due to deep emotional processing. It is simply a helpful reminder to keep yourself well hydrated as your system integrates everything.

Paranormal Activity and Electrical Glitches: The veils are quite thin right now, which can bring an increase in paranormal activity. Because your energy field has expanded and you are operating on a new frequency, you may also experience light bulbs flashing as you enter a room, appliances acting up, or unexpected technical difficulties with your car.

Temperature Fluctuations and Night Sweats: Experiencing sudden temperature shifts, hot flashes, or night sweats.

Deep Emotional Shifts: Experiencing waves of sudden crying spells or deep emotional releases as your internal landscape reorganizes while you lovingly let go of past versions of yourself.

Learning to speak a brand new lexicon with your own heart, your sacred inner landscape, and the living earth all around you is a profound sacred art, and it takes time to unfold. You might feel a little ungrounded right now, floating somewhere between who you were and who you are becoming, and it takes a gentle moment to fully settle back into your physical skin as these celestial updates ripple through. Please, wrap yourself in an extra layer of compassion and kindness as you allow yourself all the space you need right now. This is a season designed entirely for deep, uncompromising gentleness, knowing that you are never walking this path alone. ✨💖
