Sometimes the world is a hard place to be in. That’s my thought as I sit down to write this newsletter.
I woke up this morning to the horrible sound of an excavator taking down trees in the yard next door. I could barely catch my breath as I watched a giant pine tree crash to the ground. Turns out our neighbor needs to replace their failed septic system so they had no choice. And while I completely understand, it sucks. It just really sucks…

Last month, while enjoying some time to myself at a local park, I overheard a conversation between two women who were talking about how frustrated they were with their jobs. They were sitting close by and, while I was doing my best to mind my own business, I couldn’t help but notice how much time and energy they were investing in the problem. They kept repeating the details of the situation over and over again, complaining about the office, their co-workers, the boss, etc. I thought a...Read Full Post »

Every year at Week 26, I like to invite you to stop and reflect on the positive changes you’ve made in your life so far. After all, the quality of your life is directly related to the quality of relationship you have with yourself. When you feel good about who you are, you allow better things – people, experiences, jobs, opportunities, etc., into your life. Taking the time to inventory your positive changes is an important step in developing this stronger relationship. And it...Read Full Post »

I’ve just finished reading a beautiful book – a memoir called, “Returning to My Mother’s House: Taking Back the Wisdom of the Feminine,” by Gail Straub, a wise woman whose guidance I’ve been blessed to partake in over the years. Gail’s book chronicles her wild and imaginative life as an international social/spiritual activist, a pioneering self-help teacher, and the daughter of a Bohemian artist who died much too young at the age of fifty-five when G...Read Full Post »

As we head into the last two weeks of the year, I wanted to offer you a few self-care reminders designed to support you in entering 2012 feeling excited about this next, great phase of your life.
During the holidays, be sure to...
Take good care of your financial health. Spend well within your means. Remember that the time and love you give others is the most valuable (and desired) gift of all.

My husband, Michael, and I are on our way to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida, with our good friend Ileen. The three of us are attending a conference in the area over the weekend, which will also allow me the chance to meet with Louise. We decided to sneak off and spend the day entertaining our inner kids before the conference begins.
The drive has taken much longer than we'd anticipated, and we are almost out of gas-lit...Read Full Post »

We all have those days when life hands us one frustration after another, as though we’ve been possessed by some kind of negative force that brings mayhem to even the simplest tasks. I’m sure you know what I mean. You’re running late for a meeting when your child’s school calls to say your little boy is sick. You grab your paperwork on the way out the door, trip and drop the files all over the parking lot, curse yourself and rush to the car (an...Read Full Post »

Yes, We have a theme going on it seems. We are just picking up on the permeating energy, that is all.
All the quiet time you spend by yourself is extremely valuable Earthlings. You see, all the moments spent going within and connecting with Nature help you see who you (your spirit) are.
Your innate beliefs. Your values. Your priorities. Your gifts. Your purpose. Your truths. Your lessons (yes, even that). And so on.
Discovering your sel...Read Full Post »

We can live passively-waiting for things to happen or to get better, or actively-using our manifestation abilities to create the reality that we want in the next moment, no matter what appears to be happening in this one. Our life can be one of active abundance, where we are in a constant state of receiving effortless miracles every day, or passive abundance, where we seem to get what we want after a great deal of difficulty, at the la...Read Full Post »

Recently I received an e-mail from a reader who felt nervous about moving forward with a new, exciting job offer. She worried about how her life would be effected by making the transition from a healthy, more balanced lifestyle, to what she assumed would be a fast-paced, demanding schedule. My advice to her was simple – since you call the shots, play by new rules.
Whether you’re starting a new job, running your own business, or working for a company already, you...Read Full Post »

Here we are at the end of 2010 and I hope your last week is just what you want it to be. I’ve been doing my best to heal from a bad cold, so I’ll keep this newsletter brief.
Even though I’ve been sick, I decided I would do my best to still enjoy the holidays. I’ve spent time with family and friends (at a distance ), slept a whole lot, found a great new tea (Yogi’s Seven-Berry Antioxidant tea is terrific) and finally introduced myself to ...Read Full Post »

In the past three weeks I’ve had numerous conversations with people who are taking care of aging parents. Just this morning I spoke with a friend who’s been in and out of assisted living facilities, doctor’s offices, and hospitals more times than he can count. Having been a fulltime caregiver for more than three years when my husband Michael was sick, I know how complicated and overwhelming it can be. And my heart goes out to you if you’re dealing with this situation n...Read Full Post »

What message do the Keepers have regarding human emotion and achieving emotional freedom?
It is vitally important that you understand at this point in the progress of humanity that emotional freedom does not mean freedom from your emotions; it means freedom to experience your emotions – to feel them, explore them, understand them, and release them in ways that are most closely in alignment with your life’s purpose.
There are...Read Full Post »

“We must be completely present for what we are doing, without sacrificing or rushing what’s in front of us in order to get to ‘more important’ stuff later. No matter how mundane the activity, treat everything as important and take pleasure in it. At bottom, whatever we are doing right now is what we are engaged in and it deserves our full attention and appreciation.”
I read this passage in a book called, Less: Accomplishing More by Doing Less, ...Read Full Post »

How can I know what I am doing on this Earth is meaningful and in my highest good?
There are many, many possible answers. It will depend on who you are and how you feel in your life. Some of you recognize that you are in alignment because you feel happy emotionally, some of you recognize you feel you are in alignment because you feel physically energized, some of you recognize you are in alignment because you feel the energy of love moving through you...Read Full Post »
